Why Fintech
The financial industry faces the challenge to innovate at its fastest pace ever, mostly due to the growth of FinTech and the changes in consumer behavior and preferences. The pressure to innovate has driven financial companies to move many aspects of their business to the next level in order to stay relevant and top-of-mind. However, any type of change requires not only implementing new technologies but also a profound change in the mindset. The Annual FinTech Conference aims to present how Fintech is reshaping the future of the financial services in the region and to create and develop a high-profile professional platform for discussion and networking.

Why Sofia
Sofia is one of the top 3 FinTech destinations in CEE with a critical mass of financial, technological and startup players, who are actively engaged in a positive competition.
Two more ingredients are needed for this critical mass to turn into a more productive ecosystem - practical content generation vehicles (Sophia Lab being the leading example) and a regular forum to meet, share and engage.
The FinTech Summit’s team is committed to build and maintain this forum, together with all the other members of the FinTech ecosystem.
