The Future of Retail conference is focusing on the challenges and innovations that are shaping the industry. 
With a fourteen-year track-record, the forum, formerly called Retail in Detail, is also a platform that is connecting and supporting the entire retail ecosystem.
Our aim is to identify the new trends that have reached the Bulgarian market and focus on how they will change the business environment in the coming years. All these modifications shall surely test the conventional way of doing business and open the door to new opportunities and partnerships

    Andrea Picchi Head of Experience Design, River Island

    Andrea Picchi has a background in cognitive psychology and computer science; he continued his education in human-computer interaction at Stanford and business and design thinking at MIT.
    With 20+ years of experience in the design field, in the past 10+ years, he has been leading teams and personally contributing to the creation of products and services used by millions of users.
    He had worked with, and for, companies like Apple, Google, Samsung, Nokia, and Sony, but also Virgin Media, Ryanair, British Airways, and currently River Island.

    Retail writer, speaker & analyst, Andrew is the founder of Retail Reflections and is one of the most high-profile figures in retail – regularly featuring in the top 20 lists of global retail influencers.
    A Forbes contributor and IBM Futurist, Andrew is constantly in demand for both writing and speaking and is regularly quoted in the media - on TV, radio and in the national press.
    In a retail career spanning over 20 years, Andrew held senior positions at Kingfisher and Superdrug before going on to work with retailers such as Arcadia, Debenhams, John Lewis and Argos.
    In addition to writing his own retail blog, Andrew is a member of the IORMA Advisory Board, a member of REAN, Advisory Board member at Retail Week, Founder of the Retail Advisory Board and is also editor at large for Retail Technology magazine.
     
  • Zana Busby

    Zana Busby Business Psychologist, Retail Reflections

    Zana Busby is an experienced psychologist and author, having spent over 20 years studying and practicing psychology and psychotherapy.
    As a Business Psychologist she specialises in cognitive-behavioural science, offering insights into decoding the mind of the consumer.
    Her main focus is on the role cognitions, emotions, mood and gender differences play in shaping and influencing the customer journey and consequently consumer buying decisions and behaviour.
    Prior to joining Retail Reflections, Zana worked in the private sector studying mental health and wellbeing.
    She is author of the self-help book Life Equilibrium.

    Following a career in Online Marketing and Strategy Consulting, Alexander co-­founded yReceipts in 2009.  Headquartered in London, yReceipts enables retail brands in 40 countries to connect in-store customers to their purchases and to measure the impact of digital ad spend in-store. yReceipts also works with CPG manufacturers to track itemised sales in fragmented trade outlets. Alexander enjoys being part of the retail tech revolution and loves the thrill the exciting new projects yReceipts is working on right now. In his spare time,he can be found on skis, tennis courts and running routes. He lives in London with his wife and two kids.

    Timur Samerkhanov Retail director Eastern Europe, GfK

    Timur Samerkhanov is a technology retail expert with excellent cooperation relationship with top retailers across eastern European countries. He developed and introduced cooperation and service standards across EE region and increased customer retention rate more than 90%. Timur Samerkhanov has joined GfK 12 years ago and is responsible for retail operations since 2009. He launched and established new panels DIY, Drug stores, Baby, Pet, Pharma, Optics in Russia and Kazakhstan and set up retail panel in Caucasus countries. Timur Samerkhanov graduated Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (2005) with major in Investment.

Prior to founding Prospecto Group 6 years ago, Oggy worked as affiliate manager at the leading Dutch digital agency Blue Mango Interactive (part of WPP).
