SheLeadsTech in Bulgaria is an event part of the ISACA's SheLeadsTech Program which seeks to increase the representation of women in technology leadership roles.

For the first time, ISACA Sofia Chapter is organizing an event that aims to explore the concept of leaders in the technology field while focusing on women leaders. The event's goal is to inspire women and to show them that being achieving a leadership role in the tech area is an achievable career step for women.

The first part of the event will introduce successful women in technology who will discuss and inspire through telling the audience about their career development and presenting key moments of their professional and life experience, the knowledge and skills that have helped them grow and which characterize leaders.

To support understanding leadership roles, how to maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations and to help the participants develop leadership knowledge and skills, there will also be a special leadership/coaching session presented by a Culture & Leadership Transformation Coach specializing in the field.

ISACA is a non-governmental organization with non-profit purpose, worldwide leader in management, security, control and provision of IT. The organization is founded in 1969 as EDP Auditors Association (Electronic Data Processing Auditors Association), ISACA is leading international source of controls in the information technologies. The Association is devoted on servicing the professionals which manage ICT.

ISACA Sofia Chapter is founded in 2007 and is registered according the Bulgarian legislation as organization with non-profit purpose. Our aim is to popularize the audit of information systems profession as of the specialists and experts in Information Security.

Targeted audience: high and middle management representatives of the financial and IT sectors (banks, consulting and IT companies)


  • Jenny Boneva

    Jenny Boneva Vice President and Chapter Lead of SheLeadsTech, ISACA – Sofia Chapter

    Jenny Boneva has more than 12 years of experience in the areas of Information Technologies and Information Security, IT Audit and Compliance, Data Protection and IT Governance. Her career started as IT consultant/ Advisor and Auditor in one of the Big 4 leading firms in the accounting and consulting industry. Later, she focused her professional development on Information Security in the financial sector. She manages worldwide recognized certificates CISA issued by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) in the area of audit, control, monitor and assess an organization’s information technology and business systems and CISSP certificate issued by ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium) focused on Information Security. Additionally, she has certificates related to the areas of Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics. Currently, she is Vice president and Chairwoman of Membership Committee of ISACA – Sofia Chapter.
  • Sanja Kekić CRISC

    Sanja Kekić CRISC President of ISACA Belgrade Chapter and SheLeadsTech Liaison

    Sanja in her 20 years long career path led and executed various types of complex IT and business processes projects related to GRC in Serbia and SEE region. She was member of team who in 2001 received JISA Discobolus Award in Finance Category for innovative Banking application systems. Sanja gained her experience by working for Big 4, several largest banks and financial institutions in Serbia and for the largest mobile operator in the Balkans region. Her background is mathematics and informatics as well as Executive MBA in finance and certified in COBIT and Internal audit field. Currently she works for Crowe RS as IT Advisory & Risk Director. She is devoted to promote the visibility of ISACA and its core values among the Serbian market for what she received 2018 ISACA’s Outstanding Leaders Award in Small Chapter category. Also, she is one of ISACA Belgrade Chapter founders. In addition, she is very active International volunteer in raising awareness about the ISACA’s SheLeadsTech program.
  • Desislava Ivanovich

    Desislava Ivanovich SAP Development Manager at Kaufland Service

    Desislava Ivanovich has 13 years of experience in SAP Development. Her passion about development is all about technologies like ABAP and UI5. She started via wining a scholarship from an SAP company for attending a JAVA course but then got to turn into an ABAP developer herself. A lot of challenges laid before her on the path of professional growth from junior to a successful leader. She is ambitions, self-motivated and strongly believes that everyone can succeed if they do not give up and tenaciously pursuits all the goals she sets her mind on. Her passion outside of work is travelling, visiting different countries and getting in touch with different cultures.
  • Daniela Vassileva

    Daniela Vassileva Head of Information Security Department and Data Protection Officer, Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA)

    Mrs. Vassileva led the ISO27001:2013 certification process in the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA), which was successfully completed in May 2017. She is the manager of the project "Creating Local Security Operation Center" in BULATSA, co-financed by the cohesion fund of the EU Connecting Europe Facility Program, Sector Transport, successfully accomplished in August 2019. The Security operation center platform is a complete solution that provides a reliable cyber defense of the IT infrastructure of the enterprise against both conventional and modern advanced cyber threats. The solution is based on an intelligence-driven security strategy and incorporates a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) approach. Her scientific interests include: Information Security - Security and Risk Management, Information Asset Security, Security Engineering, Identity & Access Management, Security Assessment & Testing, Security Operations, Software Development Security, GDPR, etc.
  • Boryana Todorova

    Boryana Todorova Design Engineer HTS (High Temperature Sensors ), Sensata Technologies Bulgaria

    Boryana Todorova has joined Sensata as Design Engineer in 2015 with previous experience including project management and R&D engineering. She has PhD in Materials Science from Institute of Materials Jean Rouxel, France and Master degree in Chemical engineering from UTCM Sofia. She is interested in new technologies, new materials, technical challenges, continuous self improvement.
  • Natalia Blagoeva -CMC, CPLP, CTT

    Natalia Blagoeva -CMC, CPLP, CTT Trusted Adviser in Change Management, Culture & Leadership Fitness Transformation Coach, Founder at Eudaimonia Solutions

    Natalia Blagoeva is a Trusted Adviser in Change Management, Culture & Leadership Fitness Transformation Coach and a Keynote Speaker. She supports internal and external change agents and organisational leaders in unleashing their highest potential and successfully leading personal and organisational transformations. Natalia has over 20 years of international experience as an organisational leader and 7 years of experience as an organisational consultant and a leadership coach. She is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC ©), a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP ©), and a Certified Leadership and Culture Transformation Consultant (CTT ©). A lot of her work as a mentor and coach is dedicated to women leaders. Natalia currently lives in Zurich, but continues to regularly work with leaders and organisations in Bulgaria.

The areas she is experienced at are: Undergraduate and graduate recruitment and admission of students; Managing the graduate and executive programs of the American University in Bulgaria; Facilitating various on-campus events; Managing services and business relations at Elieff Center for Education and Culture; People management; Managing budgets; Networking; Facilitating the faculty-students relations; Experience as a Test Center Supervisor (TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GARP); Her interests include music, social entrepreneurship, theatre, traveling.
