    Rolf Schrömgens is a German entrepreneur, who is best known for his role as Founder and Managing Director for trivago GmbH. Pushing the boundaries of data-driven product development and rethinking the way that tech companies nurture and develop their talents are among his expertise. Parallel to spending his time at trivago, he was also President of the Entrepreneur’s Organization in Germany. Previously, Rolf was head of VP Product & Strategy at Ciao.com. Born and raised in Mönchengladbach, Rolf attended HHL (Leipzig Graduate School of Management).

Recreation: Deb was the Co-Founder of Sunstream Corporation, a manufacturing company in the marine industry. Sunstream was one of the fastest growing companies in the Seattle area for 8 years under Deb’s leadership. Large Government projects and International Dealer distribution led to the company’s exponential growth. Consulting: Deb founded Altitude 7 Group, a Seattle based business consulting company in 2010. She was a hired gun for entrepreneurs helping them with key strategies to significantly grow or position their business for sale. She studied Tourism in Bilkent University in Ankara, International Management in Marketing in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and in Rennes, France and received her masters’ degree in Psychology in Istanbul Trade University in Istanbul. After graduating from college, she worked for Marcus Evans and Samsung Electronics around 5 years before moving back into her family business of running kindergardens. Mrs. Kertmelioglu was working with kids & parents closely for over 13 years in 3 branches across Istanbul. She is one of the founding members of EO Turkey since it was formed in 2012 and have been an active board member for 7 years. She is currently residing in Istanbul and Amsterdam.

    Dr. Reggie Chandra invented In|Sync, a robot that synchronizes traffic lights and reduces automobile crashes by 30%. Esquire Magazine recognized Reggie as one of the most inspirational CEOs in the US in 2012. Sir Richard Branson, after meeting with Reggie declared that: "You should be awarded a Nobel Prize." Governors, entrepreneurial/engineering organizations have recognized Reggie for his contribution to society. Reggie holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, a master’s degree in Traffic Engineering and a Ph.D in Organizational leadership. Rhythm Engineering was listed in the Inc. 5000 for 5 years. Rhythm was listed it as the 64th fastest growing company in the USA. Gartner also lists Rhythm Engineering as a "Cool Vendor."   • George Gan

    George Gan Entrepreneur, Master facilitator & Trainer

    George Gan is an entrepreneur and a pioneer in the IT industry in Malaysia. After his graduation from City University in London and having worked there for a number of years, in 1987 George started his first IT Company in Malaysia called Hitechniaga. The company was a system integrator and pioneered Unix OS in the region. The company grew from an initial 3 staff start-up to a 300 employees group with a revenue in excess of US$30M. During that period, George was a board member of Boca Research Inc, a company listed on the US Nasdaq. He was also an advisory board member to MasterCard International e-commerce Board and a council member of PIKOM Malaysia. In 1999, George founded and lead a consortium called Commerce Dot Com to successfully secured the largest Malaysian Government eProcurement project. The platform has a yearly transaction value of USD3.2B. In 2002 George founded Clapper Technology, a supply chain solution company. In 2017, George went into the training business offering training in strategy and scaling up. His clients include companies in Shanghai, Holland, Africa, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. Other business that George is involved in included boutique property development and plantation. George has been a master facilitator & trainer for the Entrepreneur Organisation for 12 years. He trains globally in the area of Leadership, Strategy, Forum, and Mentorship. He is a certified EO trainer for Accelerator which licences its content from Gazelles Inc (Scaling Up). The latter is a methodology and content to help companies scale-up based on the Rockefeller Habits. George currently leads the program office for EO Leadership Academy. In this role he facilitates and trains all the leadership academies in North American, Canada, Europe, Africa, India and Asia.

Currently he is managing partner at LAUNCHub Ventures, which is a SEED fund with EUR 27M under management focused on investing in the "digital domain". Although holding a degree of law from Sofia University he feels much better in online media and internet services business. Lyuben is an early blockchain enthusiast, leading several LAUNCHub investments in blockchain companies since mid 2014.
     
  • Vassil Terziev

    Vassil Terziev Co-founder of Campus X and Telerik Academy and Partner at Eleven

    Vassil Terziev is a successful entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor to some of the leading start-ups in Bulgaria.
    As Co-Founder of Telerik Academy – the pioneering tech-ed organization that trains and grooms the digital builders of tomorrow – and Campus X – the biggest hub and ecosystem for tech companies and talent in SEE – Vassil is a key driver behind the organizations’ constant innovation across all streams. Currently, he is also Partner at Eleven – a leading pre-seed and seed VC firm supporting early-stage startups in Southeast Europe, where he advises portfolio companies on business foundations, value proposition, growth and expansion to new markets. Vassil is actively involved in the global start-up ecosystem, too. He is on the board of Endeavor Bulgaria as well as is a member of MacStadium’s Board of Directors – leading US provider of private cloud hosting services. Earlier in his career, he co-founded the global software company – Telerik, acquired by Progress in 2014. Following Telerik’s acquisition, Vassil served as Chief Innovation Officer at Progress. Terziev earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Bulgaria, and held diverse roles in companies ranging from real estate and investment, to high-tech.
  • Dr. Kiril Velitchkov

    Dr. Kiril Velitchkov Manager of KBC Group European Financial Instruments Competence Center; Director of European Projects and Financial Institutions, UBB, Member of KBC Group;

    Kiril is managing the KBC Group European Financial Instruments Competence Center as well as the EU related activities at UBB. He coordinated the joint position of the the large baking groups in respect to the Financial Instruments at the Vienna Initiative; he represemts the Association of Banks in Bulgaria in the programming of EU Funds. Kiril represents UBB at Konfederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria European programmes WG; he is member of KBC Bulgaria Sustainability committee. He has more than 22 years of experience in EU programmes. He has worked at Phare and Socrates EU programmes; the Center for Study of Democracy (largest think tank in Bulgaria), the Goethe Institute where he was responsible for the EU programmes within SEE. He was long-term strategic consultant for the establishment of the first European projects unit at a bank in Bulgaria (HVB, 2004). Kiril has consulted Bulgarian and foreign ministries and was an independent expert at the EC. He is an university lecturer. Kiril completed a PhD in European Structural and Pre-Accession Funds in 2003 and has over 40 publications; many articles and interviews. He speaks English, German, Russian and Bulgarian.

Most recently, she held a Consumer Strategy role at The Walt Disney Company. In 2019, Joana founded Futures Forward, a strategy and futures consultancy, which helps organisations build future-proof strategies and delivers Strategic Foresight workshops in partnership with The Futures School, USA. Joana is a graduate of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in Strategy and Innovation. She is a member of the Global Foresight Advisory Council of The Futures School, the Association of Professional Futurists and the Oxford Union.

    Bojidar is one of PwC's senior partners for Central and Eastern Europe. He started working in PwC in 1994 and has been a partner in the company since 2004. Bojidar has 25 years experience in advising clients on major private sector transactions as well as privatisations in the region, market entry and exit strategy analysis, restructuring, liquidation and turnaround services, as well as post-acquisition support. Over the past two decades, Bojidar founded or developed most of the PwC Balkan offices with acquisitions of competing companies and teams of specialists.
  • Dimitar Enchev

    Dimitar Enchev Managing Partner at PostScriptum Ventures Sarl

    Dimitar is a Managing Partner at PostScriptum Ventures Sarl. He graduated from Swarthmore College and the London School of Economics and has over 12 years of experience investing in renewable energy and sustainability. Dimitar started his career at CWP Renewables where he still serves on the Board. At CWP Dimitar was involved in the successful development and financing of a number of large-scale renewable energy projects including the largest wind farm in Europe – the €1.1billion Fantanele project. At PostScriptum Ventures Dimitar has been responsible for a number of investments in technology and renewable energy globally in areas such as large-scale wind and solar development, distributed energy generation, solar offgrid technology, and energy efficiency. In 2015 he brought PostScriptum Ventures to Bulgaria where the fund has already made three investments – in International Power Supply (distributed energy generation), Software Group (microfinance IT solutions) and Resalta (energy efficiency). Dimitar also sits on the Board of Grassroots Renewable Energy, a $2bln renewable energy platform in Australia.
     
  • Lazar Petrov

    Lazar Petrov is a professional, who combines international experience in finance and technology. In his first years of professional development, he gained insights into corporate finance and investment management as part of business development teams of international organizations being settled in Germany and Spain. Following this he spent several years as a project manager and management consultant with a focus on technological upgrade of financial institutions. Lazar Petrov graduated from the University of Freiburg (Germany) with Master degree in Economics and specialization in financial analysis. In August 2017, he took office as Director "Financial Instruments and EU Operational Programmes" of the Fund of Funds.

    Mr. Nikolaev is currently partner and COO of Empower Capital Advisers, the manager of Empower Capital Fund I, a Jeremie – supported PE fund, investing in Bulgarian lower and mid-market industrial companies. Stanislav is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in both international and local companies in Bulgaria and the UK. Prior to joining Empower Capital, Stanislav gained experience in the shipping business, at management positions in banking, and also in executive roles as COO and CFO in retail companies like "Piccadilly" and "Petrol". Stanislav was part of the management team that led the growth and the expansion of the supermarket chain "Piccadilly" to a national player and successfully negotiated and completed the sale of the company to the Serbian group "Delta" in 2007. Stanislav graduated from the University of Lille II in France with MA in Economics and Finance and holds post-graduation specialization diploma in Financial Management from CEU in Nancy.
