  • Paul Dixon

    Paul Dixon BA (HONS), DIPM, MINSTLM, MCIM, CHARTERED MARKETER

    Paul holds the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and is a Chartered Marketer. He works as a practising marketing consultant and trainer, with extensive experience in a wide variety of industries and in a number of countries, including Poland, Romania, Russia, The Netherlands and the UK. Paul helps small and medium businesses to create market driven, competitive business strategies that bring growth and achieve profit objectives. He then works with key staff members to implement these strategies, working alongside and within the team(s). Paul offers a broad range of marketing, business and sales skills and has worked effectively providing trainings and workshops at all levels within an organisation. In addition to marketing courses, Paul also teaches Strategic Management (E3), Business Analysis (P3) and Advanced Performance Management (P5) modules for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional level examinations. His teaching style is dynamic and professional, highly exam-focused, participative and based upon continuous use of up-to-date, real-world examples.
  • Lincoln Miles

    Lincoln Miles BA HONS, FCCA, FCMI, FCIS IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP

    Lincoln designs, writes and presents post-qualification training courses, workshops and seminars for accounting professionals. He also teaches accountants for their ACCA and ICAEW accounting exams. He is also the former Managing Director of BPP in Jersey. Lincoln has held various Course Manager and Director roles and also the National Subject Manager roles for ICAEW Advanced stage Corporate Reporting and Audit and Assurance. Outside BPP Lincoln has been an examinations marker for ACCA and ICAEW Case Study. Lincoln’s background in education enables him to communicate detailed and complex subject material in a dynamic and efficient manner. It is interesting to mention that Lincoln has been an actor in the past and having this qualification and personal qualities, he is able to deliver technical information in a very engaging and entertaining manner. Lincoln has delivered a number of tailored trainings to our clients in Bulgaria on topics such as IFRS, IFRS Update, UK GAAP, US GAAP as well as CPD lectures in front of ACCA students and members; thus, he is familiar with local audience.
  • Geori Kirilov

    Geori Kirilov FCCA CF

    Georgi is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is a Corporate Finance (CF) qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE). He is also part of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the US business valuation institution. Georgi has significant professional experience in accounting, consulting and corporate finance areas, and he has worked for many years in London and Geneva, prior to returning to Bulgaria at the end of 2005, where he spent three years in the Financial Advisory Services of Deloitte Bulgaria leading due diligence, valuation, and buy and sell side advisory engagements for major international and Bulgarian clients such as EON, KBC Bank, Magyar Telecom, BTC, BBB Group, Business Park Sofia, OCK, Gorubso Madan etc. Georgi delivers the following courses: Financial Management and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Performance Management, Budgeting and Excel. He has extensive international teaching experience in the UK, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Greece. Georgi specialises in corporate finance, performance management and financial management. He is teaching ACCA (F2, F3, F5, F9, P3, P4 and P5), CIMA (F3, ICS Management Level), CISI/ ICAEW Corporate Finance Qualification.
  • Iliya Grozdanov

    Iliya Grozdanov MJUR, AAL DINOVA RUSEV & PARTNERS

    Iliya holds a Magister Juris degree from Oxford University where he specialized in corporate finance, International Financial and European law. He also holds Legal English diploma from the University of California San Diego, a Master’s degree in law with honors from Sofia University and a certificate in US Business law. Iliya is a full-time attorney-at-law admitted for practice to the Bulgarian Bar. Prior to his return to Bulgaria in 2007, he has worked in Massachusetts and London. From 2007 until April 2009, Iliya has worked with the legal department of Ernst & Young. At present, he is part of Dinova & Rusev Law office. He has participated in most of the major finance and energy projects that have taken place in Bulgaria for the past three years. Iliya is working mainly in the fields of Corporate, Financial and Energy law. He is one of the few lawyers in Bulgaria, specializing in climate change and carbon trading. Iliya is teaching ACCA F4 (Global) in Bulgaria and Romania.
  • Vesela Kabatliyska

    Vesela Kabatliyska AAL DINOVA RUSEV & PARTNERS

    Vesela is a senior associate with Dinova Rusev & Partners law office. Her experience is focused on provision of clients with advice in the area of employment social security law and personal data protection. Vesela also advises in the area of competition as well as all aspects of employment law and compliance with the regulatory framework in place. She has extensive experience in structuring and drafting employment agreements, statutory internal rules and procedures, drafting and implementation of specific internal procedures such as implementation of share option plans, whistleblowing systems, etc. Vesela is a specialist in matters related to Societa Europea, dismissal and redundancy schemes as well as all issues, related to temporary agency work and data protection. She defends clients interests in unfair dismissal cases and data protection issues. She also works on various company and commercial issues related to general compliance and transaction-based ad hoc issues as well as on corporate transactions involving employment issues like transfer of undertaking, collective redundancy schemes mass layouts.

Business Simulation*
The date is not fixed. It will be tailored by the participants' availabilities.
 
2 days’ interactive training game that you will find out what are the links and interdependencies between operations and production, strategic decisions and marketing, planning and reporting of financial results. 
For 2 days you will be able to work in a team with other participants and compete for market share in real business environment. Following realistic processes and market rules you will have to negotiate with suppliers and customers, plan production capacity, hire or dismiss staff. You will develop new products, invest in advertising and sales.
By the end of the game you will be able to assess the performance of your company with confidence and competence – you will know whether the decisions taken were right or wrong and how you could ensure the sustainability of your business model.

* The business simulation game is part of the package for the participants that have chosen to аttend the whole course.
