According to a research of CIO BG Magazine, the Bulgarian market offers numerous and various cloud services meeting different needs of different in size and industry companies. At the same time, the corporate users are inclined to use cloud solutions for an increasingly wider range of tasks. Along with standard processes like marketing, sales, customer servicing, processes related to human resources management, project management, inside processes management have gone to the cloud too.
Along with that, in addition to the growth of cloud and managed services, outsourcing and cloudsourcing, IoT is growing too. The innovative technology is conquering territories in our daily live, in the business world and in modern production. The seventh edition of the National Conference on Cloud Technologies will show where we are on the map of the global trends. 

How the event was held last year


  • Pearse O'Donohue

    Pearse O'Donohue Acting Director for the Future Networks Directorate of DG CONNECT, Head of the Cloud and Software Unit in DG CONNECT European Commission

    Pearse O'Donohue is Acting Director for the Future Networks Directorate of DG CONNECT at the European Commission, dealing with policy development and research supporting the Digital Single Market as regards 5G networks, IoT, cloud and data flows and conceptualising new and innovative approaches towards service platforms and next generation Internet. As Head of the Cloud and Software Unit in DG CONNECT, he is also responsible for the strategic development and implementation of policy on cloud computing and software. Until October 2014, Pearse was Deputy Head of Cabinet of Vice-President Neelie Kroes, previous European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda. He was responsible for advising the Vice-President on the development and implementation of policy on electronic communications, networks and services, as well as broadband, spectrum and other related policies such as Internet governance. Prior to that, Pearse was Head of the Radio Spectrum Policy Unit in the European Commission, DG CONNECT. Prior to joining the European Commission, Pearse held posts in the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU in Brussels, and as Assistant Director of the Brussels office of the Irish Business & Employers' Confederation.

    Jenny Boneva Vice President and Chairwoman of Membership Committee, ISACA – Sofia Chapter

    Jenny Boneva has more than 12 years of experience in the areas of Information Technologies and Information Security, IT Audit and Compliance, Data Protection and IT Governance. Her career started as IT consultant/ Advisor and Auditor in one of the Big 4 leading firms in the accounting and consulting industry. Later, she focused her professional development on Information Security in the financial sector. She manages worldwide recognized certificates CISA issued by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) in the area of audit, control, monitor and assess an organization’s information technology and business systems and CISSP certificate issued by ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium) focused on Information Security. Additionally, she has certificates related to the areas of Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics. Currently, she is Vice president and Chairwoman of Membership Committee of ISACA – Sofia Chapter.
  • Prof. Antoni Slavinski

    Prof. Antoni Slavinski President of the NBU Board of Trustees

    Prof. Antoni Slavinski is a member of the NBU Board of Trustees since 14.03.1994. On May 21st 2011 he was elected President of the Board of Trustees and reelected again for a second five-year mandate on 4.06.2016. In the 1999-2001 period he is Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria. In 2001 he is awarded the Honorary Professor of NBU title for his outstanding contribution to the Telecommunications Department at NBU. For over 10 years he is Chair of the Management board of the "Telecommunications" association, and has been a member of the Management Board of the biggest NGO in this sector. He was Chair, and consequently a member, of the Management Board of the "UBIFRANCE-BULGARIE" association. He was Chair of the European ICT council for structure funds to the SFERA project, part of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community in the 2008/2009 period. He was coordinator of the Central and Eastern Europe Center of Excellences in distance training for senior executives to the International Telecommunications Union in the 2004-2007 period. He participates in numerous national and international projects among which the "Improving of interdisciplinary skills and cooperation between business and telecommunications specialists", "Encouragement of the innovations in the industrial informatics and desktop computer systems sector through building a cooperation network". Among his awards are the Special IDG Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Bulgarian telecommunications, as well as the Award for contribution to the development of the information society. He has specialized at the Adam Smith Institute, London, Great Britain, the Joint Vienna Institute in Vienna, Austria, and at ITU – Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Emil Djinovski

    Emil Djinovski has graduated "Information technologies" at John Brice College - Tel Aviv, Israel. His career includes positions at several companies, DATECS, Sofia Mel, Rompetrol BG and NIS Petrol EOOD. His professional experience includes several grand projects, such as management and development of E-Learning system, new networks building at Sofia Mel and Rompetrol BG, management and implementation of BPM and CRM projects. He is member of the Bulgarian CIO Club since 2007. To the present Mr. Djinovski is regional CIO – CEE & META at GfK
