Who is the workshop good for? 

Anyone who has an interest in emerging customer-focused technology and is looking to bring new ideas/thinking into their workplace.

What will you learn during this workshop? 

You will learn what new, emerging technologies you can bring into your businesses, what has worked for some retailers and brands and not for others, plus an idea of how to form an innovation roadmap.

<Innovation workshop
- Working in groups you will have a chance to develop an idea based on a mix of technologies and industries
- Go through a hands-on experience of applying innovation practices to new ideas at your company
- Develop your specific innovation metrics to drive new ideas in your company
- Obtain direct feedback from facilitators working with top brands and retailers

You will leave the session with a better understanding of these questions and an understanding of how to form an innovation roadmap.

Working language will be English.

Speakers

  • Alex Hamilton

    Alex Hamilton Head of Insight, Isobar

    With a strong research background, he specialises in understanding the opportunities/challenges facing retailers and the role digital is playing in reshaping the industry. Formerly Head of Research at WGSN Alex delivered bespoke insight projects for a range of multinational clients, including Lego, Microsoft and Mastercard. He joined from financial services firm IHS Markit where he worked as an Economist covering emerging Asia, with a focus on business developments in China. He holds a First-Class degree in BSc Economics from the University of Sussex and is based in London.
  • Mustafa Rashid

    Mustafa Rashid Head of Emerging Technologies, Isobar

    Mustafa Rashid is Head of Emerging Technologies at Isobar UK where he drives all retail innovation initiatives for global brands and retailers. Musi started his career at Isobar in Sofia 10 years ago working as a software engineer, solution architect and strategist for Walmart / ASDA and moved to the UK in 2014 to take on a more global role. He holds a Strategy and Innovation degree from Oxford, Said Business School and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Technical University Sofia.
